Enfield Council wishes to invite you to a special International Women’s Day event to mark the 100th anniversary of some women gaining the right to vote in Parliamentary elections.

The programme will include the unveiling of a commemorative plaque at the Palmers Green Triangle, followed by a reception at Palmers Green Library exploring women’s historic struggles to gain political equality and the importance of voting today. 

Whilst all are welcome to the unveiling of the plaque at the Palmers Green Triangle, seats are limited at the reception and will be given on a first come first serve basis. If you wish to attend the reception please RSVP to Tina Uhrynowycz by Friday 2nd March 2018
